Tone specific areas of your body with these workout routines to fit five types of wedding dresses.
Preparing your body for the big day doesn’t necessarily mean you have to shed pounds just for the sake of fitting into your wedding gown. It’s best to review which areas of your body you want to flaunt — and thus, improve — without having to stress yourself out. Ahead, look your absolute best by trying any of these five workouts, according to your chosen wedding gown.
For a belly-baring gown: Sit-ups
If you’ll be wearing a belly-baring gown like a cropped bustier with a ball skirt, or a gown with a sheer torso panel, start working on your abs.
Begin by lying on your back with your knees raised, and your arms behind your head. Gently pull yourself up to tighten your abdominal muscles and hold for two seconds. Then, slowly bring yourself back to your starting position and repeat for twenty counts. Do three sets and try to increase gradually day by day.
