We’re on to destination number two of the fashion season: London Fashion Week. For the past week in London, designers got nostalgic and perfectly reflected their moods in most of the runway shows. From Crocs making its appearance on the runway of a very prominant designer, to a slogan tees comeback, here are 10 highlights of what these designers have in store for their Spring/Summer 2017 collections at London Fashion Week.
Character Flashbacks at Burberry
Instead of Spring/Summer 2017, it’s Fall/Winter 2016 at Burberry this fashion week. The collection, largely inspired by Virginia Woolf’s novel, “Orlando: A Biography”, tells a visual story of a poet who changes lives across the centuries. There were a steady mix of modern and Elizabethan era pieces designed to signify the past and present, with the Renaissance coming to mind.
