Dior recreates Rouge Dior as the modern woman’s new lipstick.
In 1953, Christian Dior had the dream of wanting to “to dress women’s smiles” with a true red – the Rouge Dior. This marked the birth of a couture icon, reinvented today to continue lighting up the smiles of women by Peter Philips, who prompted this move to adapt to women’s changing lifestyles and preferences.
The new Rouge Dior is developed with a formula that includes a unique combination of “lip-care” ingredients that target optimal comfort and lasting hold, which gives your lips a matte or satin finish. Its hydrating properties are brought by natural mango butter, while Lipexel™ has lipid-restoring action that gives your lips 16 hours of comfort sans dryness and smudging. It also contains Aroleat Samphira to revitalise and Decox to plump up the lips. This new formulation is accompanied with a new design that features a strikingly fresh metallic packaging with the cap interior coloured in Dior’s sexy signature — the Rouge 999 shade.
Who’s the face behind the sexy playfulness of the range? The radiant Natalie Portman brought her charm into the Rouge Dior film, her energy and sassiness reflecting the vibrant shades of the lipstick line. The actress also represents the versatile woman of today who changes her look with just a swipe of colour on her lips.
Rouge Dior will be available at all Dior counters from 1 Sept 2016 onwards.
