Under Armour kicks off its first-ever fitness challenge in Southeast Asia titled ‘Under Armour Test of Will 2016’.
U.S. high performance sportswear label, Under Armour, kicked off its first-ever Southeast Asian fitness challenge last March in Singapore. Titled ‘Under Armour Test of Will 2016’, this event is open for men and women who have the will to train and win.
Attention to all fitness buffs: national heats will run simultaneously this April in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines. Competitors will undergo a series of callisthenic challenges that will only require the use of their body weight and simple gear. They will also need to finish a 4-minute circuit for each exercise — burpees, squats, dumbbell presses and pull-ups — to test their balance, speed, agility and power. Scores will be determined upon the maximum number of reps a contender can achieve in one minute per exercise.
From each country, two pairs of men and women will be chosen to compete in the finals that will take place at Gardens by the Bay on 28 May 2016. There, they will have to battle in a 14-metre Tower that houses another set of challenges to test their physical and mental limits. Overall winners will claim the title of ‘Under Armour Southeast Asia (SEA) Brand Athlete’, and will receive a one year sponsorship package from Under Armour.
