We compile five of the longest-standing celebrity-brand collaborations that have proven their success through time.
Celebrities becoming brand endorsers have always been a common practice in the world of marketing. These celebrities act as the face and a connection between consumers and brands, making it easier for consumers to identify and remember the latter. From the shortest to the longest, we compile five celebrity-brand collaborations that have proven their success through time.
Keira Knightley and Chanel, 8 Years
Recognised as one of Hollywood’s A-list stars after her breakout role in the Pirates of the Carribean, Keira Knightley began endorsing Chanel in 2007 as one of creative director Karl Lagerfeld’s muses.
Personifying the enigmatic and adventurous Coco Mademoiselle fragrance for eight years, Keira also fronted this year’s Chanel Rouge Coco Lipstick ads — as well as starred as Coco Chanel herself in one of the fashion house’s regular short films. The Kaiser obviously loves working with Keira. He was quoted on Telegraph UK saying, “Keira was genius, no? I work well with her. Very easy. Keira has zero problem in her way of behaving and she knows everybody.”
