Through the partnership of creative powerhouse Art Personas and Swiss luxury watch brand, Bomberg, the Manila Fashion Festival (MFF) promises to dazzle as the art and innovation of upcoming and veteran Filipino fashion designers are showcased in this exciting four-day event.
Five distinct shows will feature a highly curated lineup of 31 established and up-and-coming designer labels. Noteworthy names include Chris Diaz, Anthony Ramirez, and Banggo Niu, who will return as the trend trailblazers for MFF. Pioneer MFF designers Pablo Cabahug, Cheetah Rivera, Renan Pacson, together with Headpiece Designer, Tony Evan, will feature pieces in collaboration with Bomberg watches.
Acclaimed accessory designers, Mia Arcenas and Ann Ong are in this season’s roster, as well as industry veterans, Avel Bacudio and Randy Ortiz, who will be joining the festival for the very first time. Emerging designers namely Bengt Enrique, Eliz Marcelo, and Via Valencia are expected to exhibit their respective styles and fabulous outlook on the platform. Brands such as FINO Leatherware will have its runway debut, and ARIN, Art Personas’ in-house fashion label, will present its third collection.
New elements have also been added to vivify the traditional runway experience such as the graduation show of the Fashion Institute of the Philippines, and a modelling competition for the comeback of Face of the Philippines. Soma Store booths are freshly set up to promote partner brands and designers’ ready-to-wear collections that will be offered for sale.
Aiming to round up artistry, fashion integrity and the market holistically, this extraordinary event will surely inspire and tighten the creative bond among designers, models, brands, and fashion fans alike.
