Beautiful, brilliant and brave Emma Watson made a powerful speech at the United Nations Headquarters to launch the HeForShe campaign – an initiative that calls for support for gender equality. “Men — I would like to take this opportunity to extend your formal invitation,” said the actress. “Gender equality is your issue too. We don’t often talk about men being imprisoned by gender stereotypes but I can see that that they are and that when they are free, things will change for women as a natural consequence.” Since then, over 100,000 men have signed up for the campaign, with more than a few celebrities doing their share by getting the word out.
