Sitting prettily on my perfume shelf are Boss Nuit, Boss Jour and now, Boss Ma Vie, all in a row. Together, these fragrances tell a complete story of who I am.
While Boss Nuit (launched 2012) represents the sophistication I bring to my evening dates and Boss Jour (launched 2013) symbolises the optimism I arm myself with to face my day, Boss Ma Vie, launched this year, speaks of who I am behind this sophistication and optimism – a strong, independent woman who’s not afraid of obstacles.
I love how the flacon, dressed in a soft pink shade, is sleek and elegant. It sits comfortably on any shelf, without taking up unnecessary space. The clean lines of the flacon, topped with its crystal lid, give it a touch of modernity.
But the star of this fragrance is definitely its scent. Featuring the unique Cactus Flower accord, whose fragrance is similar to my impression of the Cactus Flower – a miraculous beauty that blossoms despite harsh conditions.
It is a subtle floral scent that grows on you as you wear it throughout the day. Its delicate floral accords are extremely feminine making it very easy to wear this fragrance to any occasion. The fragrance eventually develops into a base of warm woods and cedar that lend a bold edge to this scent at the end.
The Boss Ma Vie Pour Femme is available in 30ml, 50ml and 75ml.
