It was Burberry London calling and of course, Shanghai answered.

Burberry recently announced the opening of its new flagship store within Kerry Centre, transporting every facet of the British luxury brand to Shanghai.

Just like the brand’s global flagship store at 121 Regent Street, Burberry Kerry Centre brings the London experience to the heart of Shanghai. The posh space reflects the signature, future-forward architectural design developed by Burberry Chief Creative Officer, Christopher Bailey. The new flagship fuses the brand’s digital world with a physical, sartorial space where customers can get the full Burberry experience from events, to music and heritage, while housing the complete Burberry collections in Asia.

London Goes to Shanghai
To celebrate the launch of the new flagship, Burberry will be hosting an event in Shanghai today (24 April). Guests will be taken on a whimsical journey through the fabulous world of Burberry and its main attractions – music, heritage, product and innovation. To fully bring the brand’s hometown to Shanghai, Burberry family members such as Cara Delevingne, Suki Waterhouse, Jamie Campbell Bower, AngelaBaby and Guey Lun will be joining the theatrical ride.

London-Shanghai Streaming
Burberry fans from around the world will be able to follow the special event live, on dedicated Burberry social streams. Burberry and popular text and voice messaging apps WeChat and Weixin have collaborated to capture the entire event on mobile. Before the event, Burberry WeChat users can shake, tap and swipe their devices to interact with a series of London and Shanghai skylines. After the event, users can virtually participate in the event through interactive panoramas where they can enjoy 360° views of the space, and zoom in to find exclusive content and event details.
