It was like Cyber Monday on a Friday night. The Internet was in a frenzy minutes after midnight when Beyoncé released a surprise album on iTunes. Simply titled, Beyoncé, the singer’s fifth studio album has 14 new songs and 17 new videos. How did Mrs Carter pull off such a huge production without so much as a teaser for the media? We guess Queen Bey really does run the world.
While Beyoncé made Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy star in two of her stunning, 17 music videos, the pop superstar also sought some assistance from three Angels. Top Victoria’s Secret models, Chanel Iman, Joan Smalls, and Jourdan Dunn were Beyoncé’s posse in the new song, Yoncé.
While most of us would want to crawl into a fetal position and hide when asked to dance around next to Victoria’s Secret Models in a one-piece suit, B was not at all fazed by it. The four women make an alluring street gang of seductresses. In the provocative video we see Beyoncé in a low-cut top sucking on a lollipop and smoking a cigar. Joan is sensually licking her grill, while Chanel is strapped in a skin-baring cut-out leotard. Beyoncé videos are always epic – flashy outfits, big, sexy hair and hot dance moves that we will soon be trying to copy on the club dance floor. But in Yoncé, we also get a treat for our fashion-loving eyes: a leopard moto jacket, Fifty-Shades-worthy lingerie and swimwear, lacy pants and half shirts.
Goodbye, Sasha Fierce. Yoncé is our new BFF.
