The must-have trouser shape for Fall/Winter 2013 is loose, flowing and totally comfortable. Slouched pants are making a comeback and are the new essential for your winter wardrobe.

Take inspiration from the catwalk, with Calvin Klein who paired loose black trousers with a belted waist and mini crop top. Designs at The Row offered a sophisticated spin on the slouch pant – trousers were styled with structured blazers and turtlenecks, creating a look that’s appropriate for office attire yet still ultra stylish. If monochromatic colours are not your thing, follow in the footsteps of Prabal Gurung, who incorporated striking and whimsical prints into his collection.
The key to mastering this trend is to ensure that you still create a feminine silhouette that doesn’t drown the figure. Opt for trousers that are high-rise and tapered at the ankle, to slim down the look. Finally, add a belt to cinch in that waist and create an hourglass shape.
