Fashion Police Joan Rivers stole the Badgely Mischka Autumn/Winter 2012 show before it even started. Appearing from behind the scenes to the sound of cheers and applause, Rivers hit the catwalk with her signature runway walk.
As the lights went down and the backdrop up, an image of the city on a cold winter night was revealed providing the perfect setting for a model army dressed in an array of metallics, furs, velvets and sequins from both the main line and diffusion line Mark + James collection.
Taking the lead and setting the scene, Mark + James unveiled a variety of easy-to-mix and layer looks that included a black pussy-bow blouse with metallic embroidered chiffon sleeves, pyjama-inspired pieces and brocade overcoats. But it was the red-carpet glamour of Badgely Mischka that took the show to the next level. Showcasing decadent gowns that featured sequin-covered velvet, organza and chiffon teamed with silver fox and mink boleros, the looks screamed A-list dressing — especially when paired with the accessory of the moment: Crystal-encrusted leather and chiffon gloves!
